Shree Govindanand Shree Ram Mandir
SHREE SWAMI SAMARTH
SHREE RAM
Short Summary of Shree Govindanand Shree Ram Mandir

At the central location of Dombivli (East), in the area of Ram Nagar, we are familiar with an old Ram Mandir near the Railway Station, famous as “Shree Govindanand Shree Ram Mandir”.

Recently, the temple has been beautifully reconstructed. As we enter through the main gate from the busy road, we immediately notice the uniqueness of this temple.

On the left side of the entrance, there is a large marble “Konshila” displaying details of the Kalash Poojan and the names of trustees who contributed to the reconstruction of the temple.

After crossing the symbolic nine steps of Bhakti, we enter the spacious main hall, which remarkably has no traditional walls.

At the entrance, hanging at a considerable height, is a huge bell. Its divine sound can be heard during the Shej Aarti at 9:00 p.m.

According to Hindu tradition, the first Darshan is of Shree Ganesh.

Thereafter, devotees receive Darshan of:

  • Shree Durgamata
  • Shree Mahadev
  • Shree Ram, Lakshman, Sita and Hanuman
  • Shree Vitthal Rakhumai
  • Shree Datta Guru
  • Shree Yogeshwar Krishna

After noticing a small tortoise symbolizing devotion and stability, devotees finally reach Anantkoti Brahmand Nayak Shree Swami Samarth Mauli.

The reassuring message: “Don’t worry, I am always behind you” brings immense peace to the mind.

The frame of Shree Swami Samarth is placed beautifully in a carved wooden “Makhar” made of Shisam wood.

The platform also contains:

  • Silver Paduka
  • Bhagwa Dhwaj
  • Nandadeep
  • Marble Paduka

Behind this Makhar is a combined frame of the great disciple of Shree Swami Samarth, Shree Bidkar Maharaj, and his disciple Shree Raosaheb (Baba) Sahastrabuddhe.

Nearby is a photo frame of Shree Mahalaxmi along with an activated Shree Lakshmi Yantra.

In this Guruparampara, the next disciple is our Sadguru Shree Chaitanya Swaroop Anna (Shri Bhalchandra Dattatray Limaye).

He is the main inspiration behind:

  • Shree Swami Samarth Seva Mandal
  • Shree Govindanand Shree Ram Mandir
  • Shree Swami Samarth Granthalaya
  • Vishwanath Memorial Children Hospital and Medical Research Centre
  • Various social service activities

Exactly in front of Shree Ram is the beautiful Darshan of Shree Bajrang Bali.

Adjacent to it is the Trust Office where devotees can offer donations and perform Abhishek for different deities.

On the right side of the main entrance is the pathway to the Dhyanmandir, located in the basement.

Despite being situated in the busy heart of Dombivli, this meditation hall provides extraordinary peace and spiritual calmness.

Inside the Dhyanmandir, there is a beautiful Darshan of Prabhu Shree Ram.

Sitting there even for a few moments helps one experience inner peace and spiritual depth.

While returning to the main hall through the staircase, one can see a display board describing various spiritual objects placed beneath the platform of Prabhu Shree Ram.

Above this is the terrace where solar panels are installed for eco-friendly energy generation.

At the top stands the grand Kalas installed by Shankaracharya along with the proud Bhagwa Dhwaj of Hindu Dharma.

Behind the temple stands the traditional old Banyan Tree (Vatvruksha), maintaining the Swami Samarth tradition.

Nearly 40 years ago, renowned devotee and Kirtankar Shri Govindswami Aphale established this temple.

In his old age, he was concerned about the future of the temple. When he handed over the responsibility to Annasaheb Limaye, he emotionally expressed:

“A father feels peace when his daughter goes to the right family after marriage. Today, I feel the same satisfaction.”

Sadguru Anna and countless devotees transformed the old small temple into this magnificent spiritual center within just three years through complete dedication of body, mind and wealth.

Above all, this divine work became possible only because of the blessings of Shree Swami Samarth and Prabhu Shree Ram.

Jai Shree Ram
Jai Jai Shree Ram
Swami Ho !!
