The Outline of this Festival

The birth anniversary is celebrated on the second and third day in the month of Chaitra (as per Hindu calendar). For the poojas performed in the daily routine, services are assigned by drawing lots among the devotees present at the celebration meeting.

All services are decided according to Swami Maharaj’s orders through the draw system. A couple is selected according to the name drawn. Every year the festival is celebrated with the same devotion and tradition prescribed by our Sadguru.

A grand procession begins from Sadguru's residence “Ganesh Kripa” to Nandivali Math Vastu at 5:30 AM with a beautifully flower-decorated palanquin carrying Shri Swami Samarth Maharaj’s Paduka.

Many devotees are fortunate to carry the palanquin. The procession reaches the destination with devotional chants and celebrations. The glory of Swami Nama is truly divine and infinite.
